Members
of the 1st
Virginia will garrison the fort and demonstrate the life of
Continental soldiers during the Revolutionary War. Hours are 10 am
to 4 pm.

April 12 - 13
Members
of the 17th Foot, 33rd Foot, and 76th Foot will
garrison the fort and demonstrate the life of Continental soldiers
during the Revolutionary War. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
18thCentury Market Fair
April 24 - 27
Now
in its 14th year,
the Market Fair features the best artisans, craftspeople and sutlers
together with an 18th
Century encampment. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Thur, Fri and Sat, and 9
am to 3 pm Sun.
Woodmont Open House/
WCAMHS Museum Ramble
May 3
Showcasing
the picturesque Woodmont Lodga and surroundings, the open house
enables visitors to hear stories of the early days of conservation
and wildlife management in Maryland. Conservation organizations will
display information while volunteers answer questions and describe
some of the vivid history of the property. Hours are from 10 am to 3 pm.
French and Indian War Muster
May 17 - 18
French,
British and American Indian reenactors assemble for a weekend of
living history and tactical demonstrations commemorating Fort
Frederick’s role in the French and Indian War. Period crafts
and vendors will also be available. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
Women in the Outdoors
June 6 - 8
The
National Wild Turkey Federation and DNR sponsor this annual event to
introduce women to outdoor skills. There is a service charge and
registration is limited for this activity. Event takes place at the

Brigade of the American Revolution
Firelock Match and Tactical Exercise
June 7 - 8
The
Brigade of the American Revolution, a National organization composed
of British, American, French and German reenactment units, will
encamp at Fort Frederick. The weekend will feature a variety of
living history demonstrations, including live firing demonstrations
and tactical demonstrations. Hours are 10 am to 4 pm.

through the haunted forest, fort, and barracks. All visitors who
